Dianne’s career as a painter has spanned over 30 years and she has exhibited in both solo and group shows throughout that time in both private and public galleries in Toronto.
She has been a member of RedEye Studio Gallery in the Distillery District for the past 3 years.
She loves to work both figuratively as well as abstractly as it is the vibrancy of colour that inspires and compels her need to paint, preferably in oil. Many of her figurative works can be read on different levels as both a narrative or metaphorical.
Her recent work has evolved into abstract landscape, capturing the vastness and texture of a particular location. Some of these destinations give the feeling of approaching or taking off from an a airplane.
